Suspected CSF: Loggchina, Chhukha
A suspected outbreak of Classical swine fever, a contagious viral disease of domestic and wild swine caused by a virus of the genus Pestivirus of the family Flaviviridae, was reported from Toribari village of Loggchina gewog, Chhukha dzongkhag on 3 February 2021. As per the flash report shared, a total of 25 pigs were affected and 1 died. All the necessary prevention and control measures were implemented by the dzongkhag livestock sector, Chhukha.
