With the aim to impart hands-on-skills, Regional Livestock Development Center, Zhemgang organized three days training on TAD info database usage from 15th-17th January 2015 at RLDC, Zhemgang conference hall. The participants comprised of field veterinarians, laboratory technicians and TADinfo focal persons from Dzongkhags and central programs of the East-Central region viz. Bumthang, Trongsa, Zhemgang and Sarpang, through technical support from NCAH Serbithang. FMD outbreak in Paro Dzongkhag

Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreak has occurred in Gabjena village, Luni Geog in Paro Dzongkhag on 19th October 2014. A total 14 cattle were affected in two households with susceptible population of approximately 150 cattle. Livestock Sector, Paro has carried out the investigation, relevant samples were collected and the disease was symptomatically diagnosed as FMD. The investigation team has submitted the serum samples to NCAH, Serbithang for further confirmation. Afghanistan One Health Fellowship participants visited NCAH Serbithang

Regional One Health Fellowship Induction Workshop was held in Thimphu from 18th to 22nd October 2014 in Thimphu Bhutan. The workshop was jointly organized by Massey University, New Zealand, University of Medical Sciences and Royal University of Bhutan.
